Book of Sand
‘Book of Sand’, my twelve-piece big band, goes back to the early 00s in Seattle, where we had a monthly residence at Patti Summers’ Place in Pike Place Market for more than six years.* We also performed at Tula’s, the Chapel, Seattle Drum School, and the Royal Room. A second iteration of the band was launched in Brooklyn, where we performed frequently at the Tea Lounge and Shapeshifter Lounge.
